Submission Guidelines - Monograph

The Tadbeer Series publishes monographs on themes mentioned on the website. Any publication shall follow a three tier approval process:

  1. Expression of interest to be submitted to the Managing Editor containing the introduction of topic (or range of topics) on the subject that is being focused upon, and the author profile including the bibliography of published work. Any other details of explanatory nature can also be added. This can be (a) summary of the nature and scope of the monograph meant to be tendered (maximum 250 words), (b) background of the publication, (c) a sample chapter from the monograph.

  2. Upon approval of the expression of interest, a proposal including Table of Content with outlines of each chapter, research methodology, and the literature reviewed has to be submitted. A cut-off date for submission of complete monograph should also be mentioned.

  3. When the proposal is approved by the Director Academics, the draft of the complete monograph is to be submitted to the Editorial Review Board.

Bear in consideration that our typical monograph length is at least 20,000 words. It should be original, and previously unpublished.

The citation and referencing of monograph should be in the form of footnotes and bibliography Chicago Manual of Style 17th Edition. For further details, check Purdue Online Writing Lab.
