Anas Abdullah is a Graduate of UET Lahore, is also a Co- Founder of CSCR. He is Head of Research and Development Division at CSCR. Anas is also an NDU Alumni and shares the same strong network, which gives him an access to the policy lobbies of Pakistan. His expertise includes ‘Domain Militancy and Counter Militancy’ with a particular emphasis on Counter narrative, Kashmir Conflict and Middle East emerging scenarios.

Talha Ibrahim

Talha Ibrahim is Senior Non-Resident Fellow. His areas of expertise are counter-militancy, international security and geo-politics of Asia and Middle East. His work on the non-state actors has been incorporated in the discourses of notable militancy scholars. Talha is accredited in Conflict Analysis from the United States Institute of Peace and Terrorism Studies from the University of Maryland.

Omar Afzaal

Omar Afzaal holds a Bachelors in Economics (Grinnell College, USA) and a Masters in Public Affairs (Brown University, USA). He has specialized in US security, South Asian civil-military diplomacy and nuclear non-proliferation from Harvard University through the Brown-Harvard program. His latest work focuses on analyzing US, UN, and EU Targeted Financial Sanctions against proliferation financing, characterizing the US Anti-Money Laundering/Countering the Financing of Terrorism (AML-CFT) regulatory regime, and investigating terrorist abuse of NPOs (non-profit de-risking and embassy de-banking) in the post-9/11 era. Omar headed the Pakistan delegation in Brown’s nuclear simulation against delegations led by faculty from Harvard, Brown, MIT and the RI Naval War College. As a project researcher to Harvard University, Oxford University, the World Bank and the United Nations University (Netherlands), Omar’s past undertakings have ranged from crony capitalism to UN peacekeeping missions and post-conflict violence to co-authoring the 2015 EU project on multinational enterprises’ impact on global development.
